Teakdecking System deck joint sealant SIS440 was developed over 30 years ago by professional teak deck installers. The 1-component, silane-based, moisture-curing deck joint sealant is very suitable for deck joints 3-10 mm wide.The joint sealant flows very well during application and does not shrink during curing. Once cured, it is easy to sand, extremely flexible and highly UV-resistant. A primer is not recommended for teak deck grouting. However, the joints must be sanded well and cleaned with acetone. To avoid 3-edge adhesion, an inlay masking tape is recommended.Properties:Film formation time: 20 - 40 minutes.Elongation at break: 850 %.Shore A hardness: 38-40°,Tensile strength 2.0 mm².Please observe the processing instructions on the data sheets.Important! When using the cartridge, first cut the tip at an angle. Then insert a suitable pointed object into the spout and pierce the film seal generously.
