Self-polishing long-term antifouling from commercial shipping, suitable for use in offshore waters with high fouling pressure.
PPG SIGMA Ecofleet 290 S contains bioactive organic biocides and copper compounds, which are effectively released in a controlled manner through the continuous polishing rate. It therefore offers effective protection against fouling for 36 - 60 months (depending on driving style and routes). Complies with the IMO Antifouling Systems Convention.
Can be applied to most hard and self-polishing antifoulings (not to Teflon-containing antifoulings).
Technical Data
- Area of use: offshore, suitable for waters with heavy fouling pressure
- Boat type: For deep-sea vessels and commercial applications
- Substrate: Wood, GRP, Steel, not Aluminium
- Primer: PPG SIGMA Vikote 18
- Coverage: 7.3 m²/l at 75 µm
- Thinner: PPG Thinner 21-06
- Application method: brush, roller, airless spray (professional)
