Since this thread is only about 30 mm long, this mounting method is not suitable for thicker decks.In such cases, the adapter flange is required:It is placed from below against the seating surface of the dorade box and fixed using the plastic flange. Its screw-on contact surface is wider than the dorade box and allows direct fastening from above onto the deck. The actual deck thickness is irrelevant – as long as the control knob of the mushroom vent remains accessible through the opening
