Fixation is done using a white plastic flange with an external thread, which is screwed from the inside into an internal thread on the air duct of the box. Since this thread is only about 30 mm long, this mounting method is not suitable for thicker decks.In such cases, the adapter flange is required:It is placed from below against the seating surface of the dorade box and fixed using the plastic flange. Its screw-on contact surface is wider than the dorade box and allows direct fastening from above onto the deck. The actual deck thickness is irrelevant – as long as the control knob of the mushroom vent remains accessible through the opening
