Description

A reliable shore power cable is required to take over shore power. It must be able to withstand the sometimes unfavourable conditions in harbours or marinas and be easy to lay out and fold up.

The 25 metre long 230 V shore power and extension cable is made of flexible, black rubber cable of the H07RN-F cable type.

The CEE plug and CEE coupling with hinged cover are IP44 splash-proof. The load capacity of the cable is 16 amps.

Technical features

  • Very flexible and therefore also suitable for tight bending radii
  • High elasticity and tough surface, which has proven itself well under medium mechanical stress
  • Good resistance to oil, grease, petrol, seawater, chemicals
  • Good UV and ozone resistance
  • Can be used in a temperature range of approx. -25 °C to +60 °C

Compared to the more expensive PUR cable (see ´Similar products´), it has the following disadvantages.

  • Lower abrasion resistance and therefore faster wear under rough conditions
  • The abrasion may leave black streaks (on deck)
  • A little bit heavier with the same cable length
  • Faster ageing under prolonged UV exposure
