Description

A reliable shore power cable is required to take over shore power. It must be able to withstand the sometimes unfavourable conditions in harbours or marinas and be easy to lay out and fold up. A clearly visible colour reduces the risk of overlooking the cable and tripping over it.

The 230 V shore power cable is made of yellow PUR (polyurethane) cable type H07BQ-F. This extremely robust cable type can withstand even the highest loads and is therefore also used in the construction industry, agriculture and in particularly harsh environments.

The CEE plug and the CEE coupling with hinged cover are moulded onto the cable to make it watertight. The load capacity of the cable is 16 amps.

Technical data

  • Flexible, but less suitable for tight bending radii than rubber-sheathed cable (see ´Similar products´)
  • High elasticity, but stiffer than rubber cable and therefore somewhat more difficult to fold
  • Highest abrasion resistance, cut and notch resistant
  • Very good resistance to oil, grease, petrol, seawater, chemicals
  • Excellent weather resistance (UV radiation, ozone)
  • Can be used in a temperature range of approx. -40 °C to +90 °C
