Attractive, very versatile digital round instrument from the Swiss quality supplier Veratron (formerly VDO), which can display up to 30 digital data sets from the on-board system. Both NMEA 2000 data and analog measured values can be used. TFT display made of mineral glass with brushed stainless steel bezel, waterproof to IPX7, therefore also suitable for the cockpit.
Speed, heading, course, rpm, tank levels, depth, etc. can be displayed on 20 screen surfaces. It is also possible to set alarm thresholds, for example for engine monitoring or depth. A total of 10 via warning icons (e.g. fuel/water tank level, cooling water temperature, oil pressure, oil level, battery voltage, GPS signal loss).
Operation via two softkeys, which is easy even when wearing gloves. A GPS chip is integrated in the device, which calculates speed and course. It has an NMEA 2000 input as well as four additional analog inputs, two frequency inputs (engine rpm, logger) and two resistance inputs. The VMH 35 can also be used as the main unit for controlling up to 14 VMH 14 daughter displays via the Veratron EasyLink standard.
The menu can be used to set whether the speed should be displayed up to 3000 or 4000 revolutions.
Technical data
- Analog inputs: 2x resistance/2X frequency
- Digital inputs: 1x NMEA 2000, 1x SAE J1939
