Description

Daughter display for the main display VMH 35-D from the Swiss quality manufacturer Veratron (formerly VDO). A VMH 35-D must be installed for the VMH 14 to function; it does not work as a stand-alone solution. The compact 56 mm display made of mineral glass with a brushed stainless steel frame can display one of the following 8 measured values: Fuel level, trim, battery voltage, cooling water temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure in the engine or gearbox. The power supply and the necessary measurement data are provided via the VMH 35 main display.

The measured values are shown via a round graphic display as well as icons and digits. Alarm thresholds can be set; when these are reached, the values and graphics on the display start to flash.

The VMH 14 is suitable for all of the above data on delivery and is simply programmed once for the desired function on board using the Veratron smartphone app (Android or Apple). This works via the NFC function (near field communication) of your own smartphone. The device does not even need to be connected to the on-board power supply. Simply hold your smartphone to the back of the display, start the app and make the settings. The app can also be used to enter units, tank numbers or desired alarm thresholds.

Up to 16 additional VMH 14s can be connected to one VMH 35-D. The display is suitable for the cockpit and is waterproof to protection class IPX 7 (30 minutes in 1 m of water). A 52 mm hole in the bulkhead/instrument carrier is required for mounting the display.

The scope of delivery includes display, mounting plastic nut, wiring harness and rubber seal.
