YACHTCARE SAFEGUARD SP is a self-polishing, biocide-free underwater coating for cruising areas with light to moderate fouling. It is suitable for sailing and motorboats made of GRP, steel, wood or aluminum. The specially developed LUBRICATOR FLUID by YACHTCARE, a special additive, makes it harder for fouling to adhere to the surface and makes cleaning easier after hauling out the boat. SAFEGUARD SP can be applied to most sanded hard and self-polishing antifoulings without the need for a bonding primer. Not suitable for application on thin-film antifoulings.

Note: The effectiveness of biocide-free underwater coatings depends on the cruising area and the boat’s performance. Regular hull inspections during the season are recommended. Emerging fouling can be minimized by gentle cleaning with a sponge or soft brush.
