Universally applicable and economical two-component epoxy-based primer for all boat-building materials (except hard-working solid wood).
The YACHTCARE epoxy primer is diffusion-tight with the appropriate layer thickness (6 layers) and is ideal as an osmosis protection coating on GRP yachts and as corrosion protection on steel and aluminum. It also has excellent adhesion properties on aluminum.
The primer can be painted over with all antifoulings and paint systems.

A two-component epoxy vinyl-based primer that can be used above and below the waterline.The coarse surface structure ensures good mechanical adhesion, thus eliminating the need for sanding before the next coating. EPIFANES CR Antifouling Primer
EPIFANES CR Antifouling Primer is a universal underwater ship primer based on chlorinated rubber. Suitable for use on steel, aluminum, wood and polyester. It dries quickly and can be applied to many pre-treated substrates and old coatings. The chlorinated rubber contained in the primer makes it permanently elastic, allowing it to bridge the natural movement of wood, for example.Technical dataSubstrates: GRP, wood, steel, aluminum, existing commercially available antifoulings Pre-treatment: Fouling and adhesions on old coatings must be removed. EPIFANES epoxy primer
EPIFANES EPOXY PRIMER is a good filling, 2-component primer based on epoxy resin. It has very good adhesion to a wide range of substrates, is also a good filler and easy to sand. Has good anti-corrosion properties and is particularly resistant to under-rust in the event of damage. Suitable for underwater and above-water applications on steel, aluminum, GRP and plywood. Tips for application: No sanding is required within a recoating time of 24 hours. After 24 hours, intermediate sanding with P150-180 is recommended. Do not apply wet-on-wet to prevent runs and drying problems. YACHTCARE Antifouling Primer is an elastic, one-component primer for underwater hull coating on GRP, metal and wood.The metal particles contained in the primer form a mesh of scales, which provides high-quality protection against penetrating moisture. It is also suitable as a barrier primer and adhesion promoter when changing antifouling. SIGMA PRIME 200 Epoxy-Primer
This very fast-drying universal epoxy primer is "one for all": an exceptionally robust and waterproof 2-component sealer for all boat building materials under and above water.PPG SIGMA PRIME 200 has excellent corrosion protection properties as well as high surface and temperature tolerance. It also adheres to hand-rusted and water-blasted surfaces, as well as to aluminium and hot-dip galvanized surfaces. HEMPEL CONVERSION Primer
HEMPEL CONVERSION Primer is a two-component epoxy resin-based adhesion primer. It was developed to facilitate the change from conventional antifoulings to the biocide-free thin-film antifouling HEMPASPEED TF from HEMPEL. The primer can be applied to existing antifoulings (including International VC-17m) as well as to one- and two-component primers, provided the surface is intact and stable. LEFANT Epoxy primer
The LEFANT Epoxy Primer is specially designed for underwater use and can be applied to gelcoat, plastic, steel, aluminum, Z-drives and propellers. The two-component epoxy resin-based primer is suitable for the pre-treatment of antifoulings such as LEFANT T-Coat, it is oil and chemical resistant, protects the hull against the penetration of moisture and thus prevents osmosis. Thanks to the long overcoating intervals, it is easy to apply and cures even at low temperatures (min. 5 °C). Available in white or black.Application on painted substrates: Old one-component coatings and primers should be removed, two-component primers in good condition can be roughly sanded (grain size 60-80). Then clean thoroughly.
