Replacement combustion chamber insert with catalytic converter function for the 2000 models.
From model year 2023, REFLEKS stoves in the 2000K series use a different burner pot to the previous one. For this reason, a different burner pot catalytic converter is also used from this year of manufacture.
The year of manufacture of your REFLEKS stove can be found on the black sticker next to the regulator. The first 4 digits of the stove number indicate the year of manufacture.
The grid-shaped catalytic converter is placed in the burner pot of REFLEKS stoves and supports cleaner combustion of the fuel. Due to its open structure with a large surface area, it enables the post-combustion of unburned components and helps to reduce emissions and deposits.
At high operating temperatures, the unburned hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) are oxidized. This reduces odors and visible smoke development. The heated grid structure also supports the post-combustion of fine soot particles. The result is cleaner flue gas and fewer deposits in the chimney.
The metal grille stores heat and thus stabilizes the combustion process. This results in more even flame formation and improved combustion in partial load operation. The more complete conversion of the fuel means it is used more efficiently.
