The Jasons's Cradle is a very stable personal rescue device that can be used to transport even an injured or unconscious person from the water on board with little effort.

The personal rescue system consists of rectangular plastic elements that together form a grid. This is attached to the side of the boat with high-strength carabiners and lowered into the water like a rope ladder.

The person in the water can hold on tightly to the elements and, in the best-case scenario, can float up independently (or with support).

Alternatively, the Jasons's Cradle with the strong 14 mm diameter rescue ropes can be caught up via a halyard. This forms a tube into which the person in the water either swims independently or is towed into it. In a horizontal lying position, the person is then "rolled" upwards.

The Jasons's Cradle is made of high-quality plastics and V4A stainless steel and can be rolled up tightly for storage. Robust panniers are available as accessories for the short lengths and robust covers for the longer elements. Please ask us about them.

In addition to the dimensions listed here, numerous other dimensions are available.

  • There are two further widths to choose from: five elements (= 880 mm) or 6 elements (=1050 mm)
  • The length can be up to 6.87 metres and is then suitable for a freeboard height of up to five metres

The JON BUOY Recovery Module MK6 is a sophisticated man-overboard rescue system that combines a marker buoy, rescue sling and recovery device.The lightweight container (available in white or black carbon fibre) is attached using the integrated railing bracket. In an emergency, the marker buoy is launched into the water by opening the container, where it inflates automatically.The recovery system lies securely in the water thanks to the large capsize protection bag and keel weight. Thanks to the bright yellow colours, the high mast with signal flag and automatic SOLAS lighting, the one-person life raft is visible from afar.The person who has fallen overboard is lowered out of the water via the boarding aid onto the safe buoyancy platform. This has a safe load-bearing capacity of around 200 kg and ensures that the casualty cools down less quickly in cold water temperatures. When helpers approach, an initial connection can be established with the five metre long throw line. The lifting mechanism on the mast is easy for rescuers to reach from on board. Lightweight rescue and recovery system made of a self expandible tubelike net with small packing dimensions for uncomplicated use.With the rescue net, a (fainted) person in the water can be quickly and easily caught and secured again, because their support is not required. This also works with objects that have fallen overboard or the ship's dog.The POB net is packed like a throw tent in a round fabric bag (diameter 700 mm, height 70mm, with printed step-by-step instructions in pictures) and can thus be stowed easily. Before use, the bag is secured to the railing with a carabiner. The net is taken out folded and pops up to full size when thrown into the water.
