Description

A man-overboard rescue device designed specifically for inflatable boats. The Jason's Cradle FRC Kit is a very sturdy personal rescue device that allows even an injured or unconscious person to be brought from the water onto the boat with minimal effort.

The rescue system consists of rectangular plastic panels that form a grid when assembled. This grid is secured to the boat’s side with high-strength carabiners and lowered into the water like a rope ladder.

The person in the water can easily hold onto the panels and, in the best-case scenario, climb aboard independently (or with assistance).

Alternatively, the Jason’s Cradle FRC Kit is hauled up using the sturdy loop (with a rope extension if necessary). This creates a tube into which the person in the water either swims on their own or is guided. While lying horizontally, the person is then “rolled” upward.

Jason’s Cradle is made of high-quality plastics and V4A stainless steel and can be rolled up tightly for storage.

Delivered complete with four adhesive mounting patches for attachment to the inflatable boat and a sturdy storage bag.

For hard-hull (rescue) boats , the Jason’s Cradle FRC Kit is available in the sizes listed with screw-on eyebolts instead of adhesive patches. The part number then ends with “H” for hard hull.

The manufacturer recommends having the rescue device serviced every three years at an authorized service center until it reaches a service life of twelve years. See “Servicing Guidelines” under “Downloads.” Please feel free to contact us regarding the maintenance of your Jason’s Cradle. After twelve years of service, the Jason’s Cradle FRC Kit should be replaced with a new one.

JON BUOY MK6 Recovery Module

The JON BUOY Recovery Module MK6 is a sophisticated man-overboard rescue system that combines a marker buoy, rescue sling and recovery device.The lightweight container (available in white or black carbon fibre) is attached using the integrated railing bracket. In an emergency, the marker buoy is launched into the water by opening the container, where it inflates automatically.The recovery system lies securely in the water thanks to the large capsize protection bag and keel weight. Thanks to the bright yellow colours, the high mast with signal flag and automatic SOLAS lighting, the one-person life raft is visible from afar.The person who has fallen overboard is lowered out of the water via the boarding aid onto the safe buoyancy platform. This has a safe load-bearing capacity of around 200 kg and ensures that the casualty cools down less quickly in cold water temperatures. When helpers approach, an initial connection can be established with the five metre long throw line. The lifting mechanism on the mast is easy for rescuers to reach from on board. POB-NET Rescue system

Lightweight rescue and recovery system with a small pack size for uncomplicated use.With the rescue net, which forms a tunnel, a (unconscious) person in the water can be quickly and easily caught and secured again as no assistance is required. This also works with objects that have fallen overboard or the on-board dog.The POB-Net is packed like a throwing tent in a round fabric bag (diameter 700 mm, height 70 mm, with printed step-by-step instructions in pictures) and can therefore be stowed easily.Before use, the bag is secured to the railing with a carabiner. The net is taken out folded up and pops up to its full size when thrown into the water. The rescue net is placed vertically over the person in the water like a cage. When the net completely surrounds the person vertically, it is brought into a horizontal position by pulling on the rescue line. The person to be rescued is then enveloped like a hammock.Hooking the rescue line to the railing (using a carabiner) prevents the person from drifting away from the ship.
