Description

The rigging cleat, also called a thumb cleat, shoulder cleat or hound is a traditional mast fitting. It is used where the stay is spliced into an eye around the mast and keeps the eye from slipping down. The receiving width is 12mm. Heavy and solid, the fitting is made of cast bronze with a fine matt tumbled surface and has five countersunk holes with a diameter of 5 mm.

For an additional charge, the fitting can also be supplied hollowed, i.e. precisely adapted to the required mast diameter. Just ask, we will be happy to advise you.
