Plug TRUDESIGN AQUAVALVE
The plug with 1 1/2" BSP thread can be used to block one port on the Manual or Electronic Aquavalves, or Threaded T-Piece, when parts of the system are not yet installed or maintenance is being completed and the system still needs to be used. Colour: black. TRUDESIGN is the world leader in fittings made from composite materials. From its founding in 1974 the fittings are manufactured in New Zealand. Every TRUDESIGN part is made from high tensile composite GRP, a glass fibre reinforced Polyamide (6). The advantages are a high rigidity, temperature-resistance -40° to 80° C, resistant to oil and chemicals, of low weight, absolutely corrosion-resistant, electrically non-conductive and therefore especially suited for ship building materials which are galvanically sensitive like aluminium and steel. Every TRUDESIGN fitting has a tapered Whitworth pipe thread BSP (British Standard Pipe Thread) according to ISO 228-1, it is therefore fully convertible with fittings from brass, bronze or stainless steel. The shuttle valves and through hulls are approved and IMCI certificated after ISO 9093-2 (sea cocks and through hulls for pleasure vessels).
