Description

The tried-and-tested RULE-AUTOMATIC (RA) bilge pumps feature a built-in microprocessor which checks for the presence of water every 150 seconds by briefly activating the pump (without a mechanical switch). Power consumption for the test run is low at approx. 0.2–0.5 Ah per day. Whilst conventional bilge pumps with float switches typically activate at a water level of around 5 cm, the RULE-AUTOMATIC switches on at around 1.6 cm and pumps the bilge water down to a residual water level of around 0.6 cm.

The series features a plastic housing, an easily removable strainer base plate and a quiet-running, fully enclosed motor. The non-return valve reduces the backflow of water into the bilge, whilst concealed vents in the pump housing prevent air pockets in the hose installations. The threaded outlet allows the use of different hose connectors, depending on the specific model and connection diameter.
