This butyl rubber sealing tape is an alternative to sealing compounds from tubes. It is used for airtight, dustproof and watertight sealing of overlapping joints, screw connections, joints, seams, rebates or small holes. It can also be used as a relining or vibration and noise damper ("rattle protection").

YACHTCARE SEALING TAPE is self-adhesive on many substrates and has excellent adhesive strength. It remains permanently plastic and does not harden.

Application: The surface should be dry and free of dust and grease. Cut the tape to the desired length and press it onto the prepared surface with even pressure, then remove the protective film and proceed with installation. When applying to screws and bolts, the tape is wrapped around the thread and then screwed in. Any excess material can be removed with a cutter knife.
