Single-gear halyard winch Type 1, for wire.
These winche uses the famed MERRIMAN braking system, which holds the wire in any position and allows simple easing.
The winche has also proven itselve as very good leeboard winches on flat-bottomed boats. For this use, they are available in models that can be mounted on either side and run clockwise or counterclockwise.
Made from solid bronze, polished or chromed finish. Band brake, pawls, bolts, etc. made of stainless steel.
Comes without handle! Flat handle is available separately, Article-No. 1884-101 /-601 .
Wire intake on the drum:
- Wire 3 mm: 10.5 m
- Wire 4 mm: 7 m
