Bronze halyard winch for wire.
This winch uses the tried and tested MERRIMAN clamping band brake system, which holds the wire in any position and enables easy lowering.
The winch has also proved very effective as a leeboard winch on flat-bottomed ships. For this use, the winch is available for right-hand or left-hand installation on both sides.
Made of solid bronze, chromed or polished finish. Clamp-band brake, pawls, screws, etc. made of stainless steel.
Handle sold separately. Socket for standard handles with 11/16"-octagon.
Wire take-up on the drum:
- Wire 5 mm: 11.5 m
- Wire 6 mm: 8 m
