VETUS exhaust temperature alarm display
Exhaust temperature alarm display for engines with cooling water injection into the exhaust gas. Gives a visual and audible alarm if the temperature of the exhaust gas/water mixture in the exhaust hose becomes too high (over 75 °C). Otherwise, if there are problems with the engine cooling system, the hot exhaust gases from the engine can melt hoses, water collectors or silencers before the engine overheating alarm is triggered.
Ideally, the indicator is installed in combination with the exhaust gas temperature sensor from VETUS, which is not included in the scope of delivery. The indicator is available in a 12 and 24 volt version and comes with two plastic covers, one black and one silver.
