Description

The blue sign with a white flashing light is used in inland navigation as a day and night signal with which the upstream vessel indicates to the downstream vessel that it should pass not, as is customary, port-to-port, but starboard-to-starboard.

The frame and sign are made of powder-coated aluminum. The sign is blue (RAL 5017) with a 5 cm wide white border. The pivot is made of stainless steel.

The blue sign is equipped with a powerful electric motor (24 V, 1.5 A) and a white rotating beacon. It is available for either side or roof mounting. The electric motor for the blue sign is also available as a replacement part (see “Accessories & spare parts”).

The control panel with the flashing light generator must be ordered separately. It features a 3-position switch for operating the blue panel, an indicator light with a bulb connection, and an automatic fuse for the motor. The control panel also controls the flashing of the white light. The control panel measures 75 x 75 mm.
