Anchoring & mooring

Safe harbour or a sheltered anchorage - in order to really sleep well, a ship's equipment has to be reliable in extreme weather and sea conditions. A good anchor gear, anchor capstan, bollards, cleats, elastic mooring lines and fenders must absolutely withstand and should always be suitable for the size and type of ship or yacht. Appropriate pad eyes and fairleads should help to prevent any possible chafing of the hawsers. In our equipment recommendation based on the regulations of Germanischer Lloyd's GL you can read about the optimal strength and length of anchor chain, chain leader, towing and mooring lines for your ship.
