The system consists of a buoyant 45-meter lifeline made of durable polypropylene with a breaking load of 600 kg, a bright orange buoyant rescue loop with 68 N buoyancy, and a compact storage bag that can be mounted on the railing or pushpit.

The easy-to-understand illustrated instructions on the bag explain how to use it immediately in an emergency. The complete system weighs 2.1 kg.

The Jon Buoy Rescue Sling offers the function of the classic horseshoe-shaped rescue sling with a small pack size.Stowed in either the soft case or the hard case, the Rescue Sling is attached to the railing. Thanks to its small size and attractive design, it is hardly noticeable.In a person-overboard emergency, the Rescue Sling is thrown into the water in its soft or hard case. Due to its weight, it can be thrown accurately up to a distance of over 30 metres. The hard case is screwed to the pushpit or a railing support using the two plastic clamps supplied (can be used either vertically or horizontally).Soft Case: H x D 51 x 11 cm, weight: 1.5 kg. The holder has a support plate with Velcro on the back. This plate can either be glued to the surface or attached with straps, e.g. to the pushpit. This allows the Rescue Sling to be stowed safely and dry below deck when the yacht is in harbour.
