GLORIA SO 200E-M aerosol extinguishing system for manual act
The GLORIA SO 200E-M aerosol fire suppression system was specifically designed for use in areas where there is a risk of fire within a largely enclosed space (e.g., in the engine compartment on board).
The system is permanently installed and activated manually to extinguish Class B fires (flammable liquids).
The fire suppression system offers hassle-free installation, easy operation, and low maintenance requirements.
If the smell of smoke is detected or a fire is visually identified, the boat’s engine and ignition are shut off. Pressing the activation button activates the extinguishing generator and starts the extinguishing process. This generates the environmentally friendly aerosol extinguishing agent from potassium carbonate.
One cartridge is sufficient for a room volume of up to 1.5 cubic meters. In larger rooms, up to three cartridges (covering a room volume of up to 4.5 cubic meters) can be installed and triggered.
No inspection intervals are required for the fire suppression system. After five years, the fire suppression generator (cartridge) must be replaced.
Note: The cartridge connection was changed in 2023. To install a replacement cartridge in an older system, the E02/E03-AK2-11 adapter (item no. 3407-101) is also required.
