These bow shackles are not subjected to any standards, so there may be slight variations in measurements.
They are not recommended for lifting and standing rigging purpose! With the wide inside measurements these shackles are good for use in running rigging on sailing vessels.
As an alternative for heavier uses with defined measurements and strengths, we recommend our shackles conform to DIN, SMS standard or high tensile "Green Pin" shackles.
