D-shackle (straight form). Simple commercial forged mild steel shackle with solid hot dip galvanized finish. These shackles are not subjected to any standards, so there may be slight variations in measurements. They are not recommended for lifting and standing rigging purpose! With the wide inside measurements these shackles are good for use in running rigging on sailing vessels. As an alternative for heavier uses with defined measurements and strengths, we recommend our shackles conform to DIN, SMS-Standard or high tensile "Green Pin" shackles.
