DURADON EXTRA Canvas whole Roll
DURADON LIGHT is an impregnated sailcloth, woven from spun polyester fiber. This sailcloth is similar in appearance and feel to cloths made of cotton, but has all the advantages of a synthetic fiber:
- very good UV resistance,
- high abrasion resistance,
- good tensile strength and tear resistance.
Since DURADON has considerably more stretch than modern synthetic sailcloth due to its traditional weave (linen weave), corresponding guidelines should be observed in the use for sail making.
The special impregnation of DURADON cloth is similar to the oil-copper finish formerly used for sails and provides high breathability with good water resistance and durable suppleness. The impregnation may stain somewhat.
Cloth width 61 cm (24"), seam markes on both sides.
Cloth weight 640g/m².
Colors: white, maroon or brown.
We offer the sailcloth DURADON EXTRA as a whole roll at a unit price. For manufacturing reasons, the number of meters on the roll varies. Please choose a roll with the length that suits you from the table below.
Small quantities per meter are also available.

DURADON LIGHT has a cloth weight of 520 g/m²,
DURADON EXTRA has a cloth weight of 640 g/m², with the same warp yarn and a slightly stronger weft yarn.
