The STA-PLUG is a timely solution for such emergencies as leaks and water breaches in a variety of boat types. The plug, from the manufacturer FORESPAR, is specially developed of soft flexible material in the shape of a cone, so that it can fit in the most unusual hull breaches after the motto "insert, push & twist". Whether it's a round hole due to a mechanical failure or a crack in the hull, the STA-PLUG fits the shape of the leak. Unlike classic wooden plugs, the soft cone can be squeezed together by hand or cut into a shape that fits the hole to stop the water flow.Dimensions: height 230 mm, largest diameter 120 mm.STA-PLUG does not guarantee to stop all leaks. With the red silicone disk, leaks between 6 and 20 cm in size can be sealed quickly and easily.The silicone disk with a diameter of 26 cm is inserted through the leak from the inside to the outside with its soft grip-coated stainless steel handle. The water pressure presses the disk into place.The five-meter-long tensioning strap can be used to lash the leak protection washer inside the yacht so that it is securely fixed in position. Alternatively / additionally, a piece of wood can be passed through the U-nut at the end of the handle and clamped.The bow nut at the end of the handle is also made of stainless steel.
