RAYMARINE PLotter Axiom+9
The 9-inch plotter from Raymarine's AXIOM+ series is a powerful GPS chart plotter that is operated via a touch display. The latter is also very easy to read in sunlight and is around 25 percent brighter than the previous model series. It is ideal for navigation on sailing or motor boats that also want to network additional data from sensors in the on-board network. Whether wind display, echo sounder, AIS, radar, engine or tank displays, the plotter can integrate particularly important data such as course, speed, depth and more into the plotter image or display it on split screens and its own dashboard pages. This makes it easy for the crew to maintain an overview at all times.
The AXIOM+ has an integrated GPS module for location and course data, but can also be optionally connected to an external GPS antenna. The display is water-repellent thanks to the HydroTech nano-coating and can therefore be operated even when wet. If required, the external RMK-10 control panel with rotary control and buttons can also be fitted. The AXIOM+ series offers plotters in 7, 9 and 12 inch sizes.
The AXIOM runs the Raymarine Lighthouse 4 operating system and can display either the Lighthouse chart sets developed by Raymarine or Navionics charts. The software scope also includes autorouting, which makes route suggestions for a selected destination with ease. The laylines function is also very interesting for sailors, allowing them to determine the right time to tack or jibe towards their destination. The polar data of your own ship can be stored in the plotter for this purpose. This allows maneuvers to be ideally planned and also adapted to wind shifts.
The AXIOM+9 is available as a bundle with the pre-installed Lighthouse chart sets for Northern Europe, Western Europe or the Mediterranean for an additional 100 euros. The map set sections can be found in the images below.
