Brass tonnetjes
These little barrels are beautiful tiller handle , as is usual on Dutch flat-bottomed boats.
We get three different sizes from a small metal workshop. The Tonnetjex are entirely made of polished brass.
The handles, in the shape of barrels, are truely comfortable and are mounted on threaded feet. The square on the foot end, which is embedded in the wood of the tiller, prevents the handle from turning.
Threaded pieces of stainless steel with nuts and washers are included.
