Description

Victron BatteryProtect to protect the battery from deep discharge and to maintain sufficient starting energy for the engine. The device automatically disconnects less important loads from the battery when the set cut-off voltage is reached. The switching points for disconnection and reconnection are programmable and are indicated by a seven-segment LED display.

The BatteryProtect is designed as a unidirectional device. The current can only flow from the battery connection to the consumer connection. Depending on the application, the battery or charger is connected to the battery connection. An operating mode for control via the VE.Bus BMS is available for lithium-ion batteries.
