The products are exported worldwide.The compasses of the C20 series are MED/SOLAS and USCG approved (US COASTGUARD) and come with a certificate.The compasses are robust instruments specially designed for commercial shipping and for vessels requiring equipment. They are available in different versions.The model C20-00131 is a fully gimballed magnetic steering compass that can be used as a replacement compass in commercial shipping and vessels requiring equipment.The compass has a compass card with a diameter of 125 mm and an easily readable 1° graduation.The compass is supplied in a wooden box.A bearing device and compensation magazines B+C (in pairs) are available as accessories.

Steering compass in slightly oval design for built-in mounting.The installation as superstructure is also possible with the optionally available pedestal (height 75 mm).The black housing is equipped with a three-part visor, adjustable compensation magnets and an economical LED light for 12-24 Volts.Apparent rose diameter 115 mm. Deliverable in two versions: - article 3642-115 with a flat card, - article 3642-116 with a conical card. SOLAS, MED and steering wheel certified and as such approved for boats with requirements for commercial service. The mounting base (pedestal) is an accessory and must be ordered separately.

The heavy flat glass compass with cardanic suspension is available in two versions.The TYPE/11 bearing/reflection compass is fitted with a brass graduated ring. The brass centre piece, onto which the bearing sight (available as an extra) is attached, is also located on the upper cover glass. This makes it possible to take bearings.The bearing/reflection compass is suitable for use in reflection compass systems and a bearing stand.The TYPE/11 steering compass corresponds to the bearing/reflection compass, but without the bearing ring and centre piece. CASSENS & PLATH TYPE/51 - the flat glass compass with full cardanic suspension is a traditional lifeboat compass. They are available in various versions.Model C20-00137 is a fully gimballed steering compass with bracket mount.The bracket with the compass can be detached very quickly from the base plate, which is attached to the installation site. The compass has a card with a diameter of 125 mm and an easily readable 1° graduation.An azimuth device and compensation magazines B+C (in pairs) are available as accessories.

Available accessories for the compasses of the C20 series from AUTONAUTIC:Bearing device with degree ringB+C compensation magazinesThe bearing device is used for side bearings and compass bearings. The degree ring has a full-circle degree marking. A thread sight on the object side and a slit sight on the observer side are used for taking bearings. A shadow pin for insertion into the centre piece is included.The bearing device must be ordered together with the compass if required, as it requires factory adjustment.B+C Compensations are used to correct the ship's longitudinal (B) and transverse (C) fields. This compensation is generally recommended for all magnetic compasses.The compensation device consists of two magazines, one for the B compensation (neutralises the permanent fore-and-aft field and one for the C compensation (neutralises the permanent athwartships field). Both magazines are identical. The magazines can be opened by loosening the two screws visible at the top and removing the U-shaped covers. There are two magnets in each of the magazines that can be inserted into the different holes.

The compass is equipped with a clinometer / inclinometer (up to 25°), the rose has a diameter of 85 mm. The steering lines are rigid, so they do not oscillate with the rose.Supplied with built-in, multi-voltage capable LED lighting (12V/24V).MED/SOLAS approval Class B (lifeboats/rescue boats). The certificate is enclosed with the compass.
