The rat plate is a further development of the well-known rat guard used in commercial shipping. The rat plate made of red, very smooth polystyrene hard plastic can be stowed to save space and is very easy to install without tools.
The plate is mounted rotatably on the two-part PVC centre piece, which encloses the mooring line. The centre piece is locked magnetically.
If the rats try to climb over the locking disc, they will inevitably fall off.
