Light Tufnol wire block, with fixed eye.
The blocks have a very small diameter in proportion to the wire and are therefore intended for light loads or for redirections at obtuse angles only.
These blocks are maintenance-free and known for their long lives. The sheaves are finished with brass bearings, greatly reducing wear and friction.
The high breaking loads have been tested by Germanischen Lloyd (GL). The maximum working load specified by the manufacturer is 50% of the breaking load (BRL).
These blocks are particularly good for classic yachts of the 50s and 60s.
