MARINESEALANT MS3000/40 V2 is a transparent, clear, one-component, moisture-curing construction adhesive. It is free of solvents and silicone. It is mainly used when two different coloured materials have to be bonded together. It is suitable for elastic bonding and sealing, e.g. in the hull-deck area, interior fittings or sanitary areas. Suitablefor wood, metals, GRP. The adhesive is considered environmentally friendly and has the highest GEV classification EMICODE EC 1Plus and additionally the classification A+ of the French VOC emission class.Hardness approx. 42 Shore A and 2.2 N /mm² tensile shear strength. Very elastic, highly extensible and UV-resistant marine deck caulking sealant based on Alcoxy Silicone Rubber. Good sanding properties. For repairs and re-pointing of teak decks, mahogany and oak decks, larch, pitch pine and pine decks, parquet and laminate flooring. Can also be used for all other waterproofing work around the ship and house. Hardness approx. 40°Shore A, elongation at break up to approx. 350 %.Attention: Silicones cannot be painted over. Attention: The product only has a minimum durability of 6 months from the date of manufacture.For cleaning the wood, the manufacturer recommends:PANTASOL LIGHT (Art.-N0. 2700-005, 2700-010): Pure distilled cleaner with natural lemon extracts without acetone and xylene.
