YACHTCARE PROTECTOR HARD Bioicde Free Bottom Paint

YACHTCARE PROTECTOR HARD is a biocide-free, hard matrix bottom paint for sail and motor boats made of GRP, steel, wood or aluminum. Contains the LUBRICATOR FLUID developed by YACHTCARE, which makes it difficult for fouling to adhere to the surface.

Application: For new boats, the hull should be primed accordingly, e.g. with YACHTCARE Antifouling Primer or YACHTCARE Epoxy Primer. On existing hard antifouling, the coating can be applied directly to conventional hard antifouling (not PTFE-containing) after light sanding; a conversion primer is not necessary.

Universally applicable and economical two-component epoxy-based primer for all boat-building materials (except hard-working solid wood).The YACHTCARE epoxy primer is diffusion-tight with the appropriate layer thickness (6 layers) and is ideal as an osmosis protection coating on GRP yachts and as corrosion protection on steel and aluminum. YACHTCARE Antifouling Primer is an elastic, one-component primer for underwater hull coating on GRP, metal and wood.The metal particles contained in the primer form a mesh of scales, which provides high-quality protection against penetrating moisture. It is also suitable as a barrier primer and adhesion promoter when changing antifouling. The antifouling primer serves as a base for all commercially available hard and self-polishing antifoulings, but not for antifoulings that contain metallic copper, such as PTFE thin-layer antifouling.Technical dataSubstrates: GRP, wood, steel, aluminum, existing commercially available antifoulingsPre-treatment: The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease. All loose components or damaged old coatings must be removed beforehand. The substrate must be sanded.Application: Apply in dry weather and at temperatures between 0°C and +30°C.
