HEMPEL HEMPASPEED TF Thin-Film Bottom Coating
HEMPEL'S Hempaspeed TF is a hard, biocide-free thin-layer coating for all sports boats with GRP, steel or aluminum hulls, including regatta and trailer boats. Thanks to the special hydrogel technology, it forms an ultra-smooth surface that minimizes fouling and also reduces friction. Suitable for fresh, salt and brackish water as well as inland areas. Particularly recommended in areas where the use of biocides is prohibited or restricted (also in the Netherlands). Application on existing antifouling layer: It is possible to switch from a conventional antifouling to Hempaspeed TF. The old coating (if still intact) does not need to be removed. A coat of HEMPEL Conversion Primer should be applied as an adhesion primer, followed by two coats of Hempaspeed TF.Application as a new coating: When applying a new coating, the substrate must first be sealed with HEMPEL Light Primer before applying HEMPEL Conversion Primer and two coats of Hempaspeed TF.Technical DataArea of use: For fresh and saltwater with medium fouling; mechanical cleaning may be necessary in high fouling areasBoat type: For sport and racing boats, suitable for high-speed vesselsSubstrate: GRP, steel, aluminium; suitable over existing antifouling in good conditionPrimer: HEMPEL Conversion PrimerCoverage: 11 m²/lThinner: HEMPEL'S Thinner 808Application method: Brush, roller, airless spray (professional use)Drying times: Touch dry after 30 min at 10 °C; recoatable after 8 hrs at 10 °CRefloating time (time between painting and launching): 24 hrs to 3 monthsFurther information on processing can be found in the technical data sheet under “Downloads”.

LEFANT T-COAT 2K Bottom Coating
LeFANT T-COAT is a biocide-free coating for underwater hulls based on epoxy resin. It forms a hard, smooth surface that makes it difficult for growth such as algae to adhere and also protects the hull from moisture penetration. LeFANT T-COAT is free of silicones and metals and is suitable for all waters. If fouling adheres to the surface, it can be easily removed mechanically using cleaning sponges, brushes or hull cleaning systems.Technical dataArea of application: Waters with light to medium foulingBoat type: fast motor and sailing boats, trailer boatsMaterials (with primer): GRP/plastic, steel, aluminumCoverage: 4-6m²/lDilution: NonePre-treatment: Existing antifouling and one-component paints must be completely removed. Existing epoxy systems in good condition can be retained. For better adhesion and sealing of porous, sandblasted or rough surfaces and for recoating, an epoxy-based primer, such as LEFANT Epoxy Primer, is recommended (first coat diluted with 20-30% LEFANT Multi-Thinner).Application method: Brush or rollerApplication temperature: Minimum 7 °C, an ideal application temperature is 15-25 °C. To improve conditions for application at lower temperatures, use for example a heating element that can be placed close to the surface and then place the paint can in a bath of heated water.Application: Mix the primer with the desired color additive, add hardener and stir thoroughly. One paint pot contains 55 ml of paint and is sufficient for a 750 ml can. 2-3 coats (approx. 100 microns/coat) are recommended for a new structure, 3-4 coats for the color white. For a particularly smooth “racing surface”, the hardened surface can be sanded smooth with wet sandpaper. Further information on processing can be found in the technical data sheet under “Downloads”

HEMPEL SILIC ONE Propeller-Kit
HEMPEL's SILIC ONE propeller kit is an innovative, biocide-free coating for propellers with technological properties that ensure less frictional resistance and the best possible fouling protection.SILIC ONE is a copper- and biocide-free fouling release coating system based on silicone and hydrogel. Polymers in the coating react with water on the surface and form an invisible protective layer, a so-called hydrogel, between the hull surface and the water. For microorganisms, this layer is perceived as a liquid, so that they do not attach themselves to the hull in the first place. On the other hand, the micro-rough structure and the smooth surface tension prevent fouling organisms from becoming firmly anchored, so that they fall off again through manual cleaning or when moving quickly through the water.Suitable for fresh, salt and brackish water as well as inland areas. Particularly recommended in areas where biocides may not be used or only to a limited extent (also in the Netherlands). The Propller-Kit consists of:1x 375 ml SilicOne TieCoat,1x 375 ml SilicOne in blackImportant: Please note that the propeller must be free of any old paint/antifouling. We recommend that you adhere very closely to the processing instructions and recoating intervals in the application data sheet. For first time coating it is recommended to use HEMPEL Light Primer, which you have to order seperately.Technical DataArea of use: all watersBoat type: For sailing and motorboats; specifically suited for propellers and underwater fittingsSubstrate: Applicable only over HEMPEL Silic One Tiecoat; suitable for GRP and steelPrimer: HEMPEL SILIC ONE TIECOATCoverage: 10 m²/lThinner: Do not thinApplication method: Brush, rollerPot life: 60 mins at 20°COvercoating intervall: recoatable with SILIC ONE TIECOAT or itself after 16 hrs at 10°CRefloating time (time between painting and launching): 24 hrs to 1 month at 20 °C

SEAJET 021 EKO Biocide-free Underwater Coating
SEAJET 021 EKO is a biocide-free underwater coating that forms a hydrolysis-based, erodible layer that is constantly renewed, making it difficult for dirt and fouling to adhere. It is applied like a conventional antifouling, two coats last a season. Suitable for fresh and salt water areas with light to medium fouling pressure, regular cleaning of the surface is recommended during the year.SEAJET 021 EKO can be painted on primed wood, GRP, steel and aluminum.
