YACHTCARE GELCOAT CRACK REPAIR Paint
Gelcoat Crack Repair from YACHTCARE is a special sealant for minor repairs on gelcoat surfaces. It comes in a white color (RAL 9010) and has an integrated brush in the lid of the bottle, which can be used to apply the paint precisely and selectively. This makes it easy to seal small chips, holes or hairline cracks.Application: The surface to be treated should be cleaned beforehand and be free of dirt, dust and grease to ensure optimum adhesion. The bottle should be shaken for approx. 2 minutes so that the paint mixes evenly. Wipe the excess paint from the brush at the top of the bottle so that only as much paint remains on the tip of the brush as is needed for the application. Apply the paint as precisely as possible to the damaged area. For particularly narrow cracks and very small holes, a toothpick or needle can be used instead of a brush. The drying time is approx. 30 minutes at 20°C. Caution: If a second coat is to be applied, the first coat must be completely dry before the application.
