EPIFANES RAPIDCLEAR is a fast-drying, satin gloss clear varnish based on urethane/alkyd resin with integrated UV filter. The varnish forms a transparent, amber-colored protective film that preserves the natural appearance of the wood grain. RAPIDCLEAR is suitable for interior and exterior applications above the waterline – especially for oily woods such as teak – and can also be used as a quick base coat before high-gloss systems like EPIFANES Yacht Varnish (Art.No. 2050-001) or Hardwood Varnish Oil (Art.No. 2051-050).Application: The surface must be clean, dry, grease-free, and sanded (max. wood moisture: 15%). Application is done with a brush or spray gun at temperatures between 12 °C and 28 °C. No sanding is required between coats if recoated within 72 hours. Quick-drying, teak-tinted, semi-matt clear varnish with integrated UV filter for all types of wood above the waterline. The varnish combines easy application with good flow and even coloration - even on oily woods such as teak. EPIFANES RAPIDCOAT can be used both indoors and outdoors and is suitable as the sole protective coating or as a base for EPIFANES RAPIDCLEAR (Art.No. 2051-075), boat varnish (Art.No. 2050-001) or WOODFINISH GLOSS/MATTE (Art.No. 2051-001/2051-002).Application: The surface must be dry, clean and degreased. Apply with a soft brush or by spraying at 8-30 °C. Stir the container well and apply 5-6 coats. For a high-gloss finish, finish with RAPIDCLEAR or a high-gloss lacquer. Intermediate sanding is not necessary within 72 h. Traditional oil varnish based on wood oil and alkyd resin for coating oily hardwoods such as teak and American softwoods. EPIFANES hardwood varnish oil serves as an alternative to pure oil systems and forms a grease and oil regulating clear varnish system in up to five coats.With a layer structure of less than five layers, the varnish oil still remains breathable. With more coats, the wood is completely sealed. Can be used for coating solid wood and plywood indoors and outdoors above the waterline, as well as for reworking existing one- and two-component lacquer systems.Application: Do not use the product below 8°C and avoid direct sunlight or strong wind. Apply the hardwood varnish oil with a brush. Do not apply wet on wet and avoid too thick layers to prevent drying problems, runs or craters. Intermediate sanding after the first coat after 24 hours by hand with a 280-320 grit paper, no intermediate sanding is necessary between subsequent coats as long as the drying times are observed. For oily woods, the manufacturer recommends a layer build-up of 5 coats, for other woods a layer build-up of 7 coats.&nbsp

Clear varnish oil with a satin finish, specially suited for tropical woods, made from wood oil, phenol, and alkyd resin. EPIFANES Woodfinish Matte is suitable as a matte topcoat over a varnish build-up of EPIFANES Hardwood Varnish Oil Gloss or EPIFANES Clear Varnish. A cleaning and brightening agent for treating grayed wood surfaces. The formulation of LE TONKINOIS Wood Brightener is based on nature-identical oxalic acid and coconut fatty acid active ingredients and is suitable for hard- and softwood in outdoor areas, such as decking or garden furniture. The brightener reliably removes weather-related discoloration and prepares the wood for subsequent surface treatment.Application: Shake well before use and apply generously with a brush. Do not use in direct sunlight. Moisten wood with water if necessary. After a reaction time of 10–15 minutes, scrub with a hard brush or abrasive fleece and water. Then rinse thoroughly with water and allow to dry completely. A powerful intensive cleaner especially for heavily soiled or oiled wood in outdoor areas. OWATROL DEEP CLEANER reliably removes old teak oil, grayed residues and stubborn deposits from decks, furniture or superstructures made of teak and other hardwoods. The product has a deep-cleaning effect and prepares the surface perfectly for subsequent care treatment with fresh oil or cleaner. Thanks to its gel-like consistency, DEEP CLEANER can also be easily applied to vertical surfaces and rinsed off with water without leaving any residue. It is ideal for basic cleaning before using OWATROL DECK CLEANER or maintenance oils such as DEKS OLJE D1.Application: Cover areas that are not to be treated, including metallic surfaces, before use. Apply DEEP CLEANER evenly with a sponge, brush or fur roller. On soft wood, veneer or plywood and for cleaning work, use DEEP CLEANER diluted 1:1 with water. Allow to work for 15 to 30 minutes, checking from time to time whether the desired removal has taken place. Wash off with fresh water and a brush or high-pressure cleaner (max. 60 bar). Wash off residues thoroughly with warm water. Neutralize porous, absorbent surfaces, especially wood, immediately after washing with OWATROL DECK CLEANER. &nbsp

High-quality cleaning agent for teak and especially teak decks that are grouted, glued and sealed with SIKAFLEX.It removes dirt, salt residues and algae and at the same time brightens up grayed and weathered teak. It is also ideal for cleaning teak furniture. Complies with REACH guidelines and is biodegradable (EC 648/2004).Application: The wood to be treated should be soaked in water before use. Depending on the degree of soiling, the cleaner is worked in directly or diluted with water using a brush or an abrasive pad in the direction of the grain. After a short exposure time, the surface can then be rinsed with fresh water.

A solvent-free wood oil based on natural vegetable oils that refreshes the natural color of teak and emphasizes the grain of the wood. It also offers long-lasting protection against sea and fresh water, as well as UV radiation and weathering.SIKA Teak Oil Neutral has been specially tested to ensure that it does not attack teak decks sealed and grouted with SIKAFLEX-290 DC Pro.The light amber-colored oil is characterized by easy application and very low consumption.

TEAK-BRIGHTENER 2 is a cleaner as well as brightener for weathered and greyed wood. It penetrates deep below the surface and cleans pores deep-down. It does not bleach or damage the wood in the process, but returns its former natural and full colour. The treatment with TEAK-BRIGHTENER 2 is surface-friendly since the old coats of paint do not have to be sanded off. Coats of paint, adhesive bondings or sealings will not be damaged by the cleaning process. - It cleans timber pores deep-down of dirt. - The original wood hue will return without sanding. - The wood will regain its former natural and full colour. Yield: when the wood is heavily greyed, undiluted approx. 200 ml/m², when cleaning (diluted 1:5 with water) approx. 50 ml/m².

Especially efficient, alkaline cleaner, which removes old and persistent dirt and traces of decay, as well as dissolving remains of old oil treatments of teak.This treatment is surface-friendly since the old coats of paint do not have to be sanded off. Afterwards the wood is clean and ready for subsequent conditioning like brightening with TEAK-BRIGHTENER 2 and maintenance with TEAK-OIL 3. - it cleans timber pores deep-down of dirt. - removes remains of former oil treatments from below the surface. - Stained surfaces regain their former homogeneous, uniform look from the treatment. Description Yachtcare Teak Oil 3 is an air-drying natural oil for the protection and care of teak wood. Thanks to its excellent penetration properties, it protects the wood exposed to weathering from the inside. It is particularly well suited for use on teak outdoor use. Teak Oil 3 penetrates completely into the wood and protects it effectively against moisture and weather conditions. It also contains UV protection and slows down greying. The oil does not form a layer on the surface and the non-slip safety especially on treads on board is retained.  Consumption: approx. 100 – 200 ml/m², depending on the wood.
