Originally developed for use on board ships, these position lanterns are still used today on traditional vessels to achieve a classic look; they are also ideal as decorations or for creating atmospheric lighting at home. The lanterns are made of corrosion-resistant copper sheet.
The lanterns from DEN HAAN ROTTERDAM do not have type approval and are not approved for use as navigation lights on seagoing vessels!
Kerosene burner with a 125 ml brass tank for approx. 40 hours of burn time and a 5''' Perkeo cylinder (replacement cylinder, item no. 4130-005).
Kerosene lamps are a practical alternative or supplement to electric ship lighting. They provide a warm, cozy light and, when appropriately sized, a bright light as well. The burner size of kerosene lamps is traditionally specified using the measurement “-linig” (abbreviated: ''').
