The dorade boxes made of tough plastic drain off any water ingress via the cowl vents and can be sealed completely watertight using the integrated mushroom vent made of stainless steel (AISI 316). Suitable for corresponding VETUS cowl vent models made of silicone or stainless steel.Note: The boxes do not fit VETUS cowl vent models with a screw-on plastic ring which are named with the suffix "S" (SAMOEN-S/CHINOOK-S/LIBEC-S/TRAMON-S).The dorade boxes are supplied without cowl vents.

Exceptionally heavy and thick-walled vent, made in a small casting workshop in northern Italy.Traditional nautical piece in a round or oval design with matte-polished finish.The sand-casting process by hand creates a finish that, with the production structure, leaves no visible holes, dents, or cavities.Included is a round deck flange (diameter = D3) onto which the vent can be screwed and which can be mounted with three strong knurled thumb screws.A vent that can outlive many a ship!

Popular and proven ventilation scoops made of A4 cast stainless steel. Painted red on the inside.Available in three different sizes as model JERRY, TOM or YOGI.A threaded ring, which is screwed to the deck, is used to attach the hood. The wind cap is screwed onto the threaded ring using the screw ring. The screw ring can be tightened or loosened using the supplied hook bracket in order to turn the cowl to any desired position and fix it there.A sealing cap is not included in the scope of delivery.To prevent water from entering the inside of the boat, it is recommended to mount the fan on a dorade box.
