Description

Lifebuoy housing in a closed design with a hinged lid containing a small viewing window.

The housing meets the requirements of DIN ISO 18421:2016 "Ships and marine technology - Inland navigation vessels - Housing for lifebuoys".

The housing is made of thick-walled PE plastic. The lid is equipped with sturdy hinges and a storm-proof rubber closure. There is a sticker in the middle of the lid with the "Rescue of drowning persons" instructions from the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).

The lifebuoy case offers space for a lifebuoy with a diameter of 75 cm in accordance with DIN/SOLAS plus a 30 m long throw line.

It is supplied without contents (lifebuoy, line) and without fastening material.

The housing is designed for wall, post or railing mounting. A suitable post and corresponding mounting sets can be found under"Accessories & spare parts".
