Description

Made of heavy, untreated, unbleached canvas, hand-finished in a small north German tackle workshop.
These sturdy traditional hammocks served as beds on tall ships and school ships.
It is hemmed all around with a continuous rope. Brass eyes are set at the head and foot sides, and 12 mm fastening ropes (each 3,0 m long) are spliced in.
The hammock is spread with wooden battens.

Dimensions of cloth: 200 x 90 cm.
