Small, compact cabin stove for operation with diesel oil or heating oil.
The oil regulator, which is easily accessible at the front of the stove behind a stainless steel cladding, is easy to operate.
The stove door has a viewing window through which the flame can be observed.
The NEWPORT is equipped with a 6" stainless steel airflow burner bowl and a 12 volt or 24 volt support fan.
Heat output and oil consumption (min / max) 1.9 / 4.75 kW - 0.24 / 0.60 l/h.
The required exhaust accessories can be found further down on this page under "Accessories & spare parts".
The matching flue gas pipe system has a diameter of 3" / 75 mm.
This NEWPORT version is equipped with a stainless steel hot water coil, which is used to heat the domestic hot water directly in a boiler. The coil can run dry without any problems.
It is also possible to connect the RADEX heater, which allows a second room to be supplied with hot air.
DICKINSON marine oil stoves and oil heaters from Canada have been built since 1932. Originally designed for fishing and commercial shipping, all stoves are characterized by a simple but well thought-out design and solid construction.
As far as possible, all stoves are made of stainless steel.
Mode of operation: All stoves work according to the simple principle of the pan burner. Either diesel oil or heating oil can be used.
The oil runs from a tank, which must be installed at least 30 cm higher than the stove, with a natural gradient to the stove regulator. If no tank can be installed, it is also possible to use an electric oil feed pump.
The adjustable oil regulator - developed and manufactured by DICKINSON - regulates the correct oil supply to the burner bowl and ensures a safety shutdown via a float if the flame should go out unintentionally.
It functions reliably as it works without any electrical or electronic components that are susceptible to faults. The regulator has a safety cut-out integrated into the control knob, which permanently interrupts the oil supply at temperatures above 75°C. The stoves work very quietly and give off a pleasant, dry heat!
To support combustion - especially when lighting the stove or in difficult draught conditions - the adjustable fan under the burner bowl can be switched on.
For optimum combustion, all stoves are equipped with a removable flame catalyst (“Superheater”).
