Noble precision barograph from BARIGO for continuous recording of atmospheric pressure.The machanic barograph has a quartz movement in the solid brass drum, which rotates the drum once a week. A fiber pen attached to the tip of the writing arm records the change in air pressure on a chart paper attached to the drum.The air pressure and its change are measured by four pressure cells mounted one above the other and transferred precisely to the writing arm via a mechanical linkage. The resulting recording curve, the barogram, provides the expert with information about the local weather development, whereby it is not the absolute value of the air pressure that is relevant, but the pressure changes.The hinged case is made of clear lacquered mahogany, the inner parts of polished brass.The scope of delivery includes a yearly set of chart paper and a fiber pen.

The measuring element is a 7-fold membrane cell set made of a copper-beryllium alloy, which has proven to be ideal for pressure measurement due to its elastic properties. The vibration-damped mechanical measuring mechanism made of polished brass is ideal for use at sea.Available with mechanical or quartz movement.Ageing, hysteresis and elastic after-effects are practically non-existent with this barograph.
