Traditional manual 2-gear winch made by WILMEX is with a drum for wire or rope. It is very well suited as a mast setting winch for example. All parts are made from bronze, axles and bolts are from stainless steel, the hand wheel is equipped with a folding handle, with easy gear shifting. The whinch comes with a foot brake. The drum capacity amounts to 9 metres wire at a diameter of 8mm. The tensile force is 450 daN / 600 daN.

Heavy and robust two gear anchor winch made from high-strength seawater resistant cast brass for yachts and ships of up to a length of 20 m.The driving mechanism is operated by a strong handle via a mechanical transmission system. This gear drive and all axles are made from stainless steel. In speed gear the hoisting speed is 9 m/min (6,5 double travel per metre).In power gear, the pulling force is doubled, the hoisting speed is reduced to 2,5 m/min (this amounts to 14 double travel per metre).This is achieved by switching one bolt to change the handle unit between speed gear and power gear. A traction force of 500 kg is possible.The solid telescopic handle, made from bronze tubing (diameter 40 mm, total length 0,80 m) also activates the brake nut.On the port side of the winch a strong capstan head (diameter 115 mm) is fitted, which can be used for all kinds of traction work.The powerful body is open on the aft end for maintenance and lubrication.Strong cleat on top of the housing.Weight with handle: 42 kg.
