Description

Powerful 230CS LED searchlight from DEN HAAN ROTTERDAM. Thanks to its compact design, the searchlight is ideal for tugs, workboats and inland waterway vessels.

The floodlight housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminum with a white powder coating. There is a high-quality parabolic reflector inside, which ensures optimum light diffusion. The color temperature is 5000 K. The floodlight is waterproof to protection class IP66. Its light intensity is comparable to that of a 1000 W halogen floodlight.

The optional "lower deck control unit" (item no. 3323-102) allows the floodlight to be tilted vertically by up to 65° and rotated through 360°. The A4 control rod (item no. 3323-103) is also required to use the lower deck control unit. The rod is pushed from below through the control unit into the cylinder on the spotlight and then secured with a grub screw. The movement is then transmitted via the rod.

The DHR150-series searchlight is a Classic. Introduced in the 60's it has been a popular fixture in the recreational boating ever since. Thanks to the evolvement of LED technology, DHR decided to develop a drop-in PAR46 LED replacement for the 150-series. No special modifications are needed for installation. The existing wiring can be connected to the LED-insert - without the need for extra tooling. Compared to the 100-250 Watt incandescent equivalent, it boosts a luminous intensity of 200.000 Candela (measured) using only 10 W of energy. A performance guaranteed over a voltage range of 10 - 32 VDC. Additionally, DHR selected a unique optical design to realize a clear focused spot, while keeping stray light to a minimum. An extreme narrow bundle makes the 150 LED-replacement the best performing compact marine searchlights of its class.
