JON BUOY Danbuoy + Horseshoe Combination Glo Lite
The JON BUOY combination of danbuoy and horseshoe impresses with its compact, unobtrusive dimensions.Stowed in either a white or black (carbon look), impact-resistant hard case, the combination is simply attached to the railing. There, its small dimensions and attractive design make it hardly noticeable.In the event of a person-overboard emergency, the container is opened, causing the danbuoy and the horseshoe to fall into the water, where they inflate automatically.The danbuoy makes it much easier to find the injured person in the water. The innovative, retroreflective Glo Lite technology makes the hi-vis fabric highly reflective. As the Danbuoy and the lifebuoy also have reflective stripes and a light that switches on automatically, visibility in the dark is significantly improved.A drift anchor minimises drifting of the marker buoy. The horseshoe-shaped lifebuoy provides buoyancy. The signal whistle can be used to draw the attention of the person in the water.The combination of danbuoy and horseshoe complies with the Offshore Sailing Regulations (OSR) of World Sailing and is therefore suitable for participation in offshore regattas.An additional emergency light (Article-No. 3213-024) can be added to the horseshoe. After the danbuoy and the horseshoe have been triggered, they can be made ready for use again with a 32g CO2 cartridge (danbuoy) (Article-No. 3214-119) or 38g CO2 cartridge (lifebuoy) with screw thread.
