Intended primarily for splicing braided line. When splicing double-braid rope (Samson splice), the 4-piece set for rope diameters 6-16 mm (hollow braid 4-12 mm), or the 5-piece set for rope diameters 6-20 mm (hollow braid 4-14 mm) is used. For splicing laid rope, use the 4-piece set for rope diameters up to 20 mm and the 5-piece set for rope diameters up to 28 mm.
