We have these unique bucket-style scoops (Segeltucheimer) produced in small batches by a craftswoman in Germany. In fact, each bucket is one-of-a-kind.
A particular advantage of a canvas bucket is that when scooping water from outside the boat, it won’t damage the hull or the boat’s paint job. It can also be stowed away compactly.
Made from very sturdy canvas, with a sewn-in or “lashed-on” rope ring at the top and bottom. Splice-in rope handle with a sewn-in eye.
Available in natural-colored, heavy-duty cotton canvas (not rot-proof)!
Or made from tan (reddish-brown) rot-resistant DURADON tarpaulin fabric.
